The Division of Enrollment Management is comprised of four distinct units: Office of Admissions, Office of the University Registrar, Office of Financial Aid, and Technology Operations. Enrollment Management’s integrated services provide distinctive support throughout the students’ development and progression in their academic experience – from recruitment through commencement. Through collaboration, communication, and commitment, all units within Enrollment Management achieve the highest level of student-centered service to current and prospective students and families as well as to campus partners across the University. The Technology Operations Unit within Enrollment Management provides technology support, technology-based solutions, systems configuration, identity and data management, and analysis across the division. The unit works closely with subject matter experts in Admissions, Registrar, and Financial Aid to meet the operational and reporting needs of various stockholders across campus.
Responsible for creating, designing, and maintaining financial aid reporting and analysis. Serves as data management analyst and leverages financial aid data with other key institutional data.
Designs, develops, and maintains financial aid databases and reports for state, federal, and institutional reports such as Board of Governors, IPEDS, Common Data Set (CDS) as well as other reports that aid in the leveraging of financial aid. Optimizes the use of PS query and interactive visualization software to develop departmental dashboards for a variety of reporting needs that include financial aid data as well as data from other campus departments. Responsible for accessing university data stores and creating ad hoc reporting datasets to complete institutional reports for administration.
Develops and maintains Snowflake reports for use by functional end users across campus. Utilizes the current Snowflake software to assess and analyze information to respond to official requests for Financial Aid data. Meets with clients to determine data needs to create informational databases. Analyzes data for accuracy and presented in a logical, consistent manner for timely dissemination. Makes recommendations to senior leadership for the enhancement or creation of Snowflake queries and PS queries.
Collects and analyzes financial aid data to respond to surveys that profile FSU for publications and University reporting. Maintains historical documentation relating to various surveys. Assists with the gathering and evaluation of financial aid data for Board of Governor (BOG) reporting. Identifies efficiencies, participates in testing, advises of regulatory changes, and ensure compliance with quality assurance. Assist with admissions and enrolled student reporting.
Provides support to departmental and administrative clients in the use of PS Query and current Snowflake software as well as their best practices. Maintains documentation for training purposes on these products.
Assists in developing strategies to aid in streamlined data management. Researches problems within sections programs and presenting findings to ensure compliance with state, federal, and institutional regulations. Makes recommendations to senior leadership for the enhancement of overall processes.
