American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step-Down (HVTI) position at a major academic medical center in Cleveland, OH, requiring at least 18 months of Step-Down experience and rotating day/night shifts.

HVTI Step-Down unit within a large academic hospital setting
-
Rotating day/night shifts: days 7:00am–7:30pm and nights 7:00pm–7:30am (3x12-hour shifts)

Shift may vary based on operational needs of the unit
-
Potential to float to other units (J1-2, J33, and ED) caring for the same patient population
-
PCU/Progressive Care patient population
-
Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand

Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Step-Down (travel experience is acceptable)

18 months of recent Step-Down experience required

PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required

Must provide a copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card for consideration

Two professional references required for consideration

ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; a passing score on both is required

Must be available to work at least every other holiday

Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location, and must wait a minimum of 6 months before beginning a new assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
