About the Role
The Front Desk Supervisor helps lead daily front desk operations and supports a welcoming, efficient experience for all guests. This position plays an important role in guiding front desk staff, maintaining smooth processes, and ensuring high service standards throughout each shift.
What You Will Do
Leadership and Team Support
- Lead with a friendly, professional presence that sets the tone for staff and guests.
- Support, coach, and train front desk employees.
- Prepare and maintain front desk schedules to ensure coverage.
- Assist with resolving routine staff issues and escalating concerns when needed.
Guest Services
- Welcome guests and provide helpful, timely service.
- Complete check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently.
- Respond professionally to questions, concerns, and complaints.
- Share information about hotel services, amenities, and nearby attractions.
- Anticipate guests' needs to support a positive overall stay.
Administrative and Front Desk Operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked front desk area.
- Manage incoming mail, emails, and packages and route them appropriately.
- Maintain accurate guest records and documentation.
- Process payments and transactions with accuracy.
- Assist with room availability, rates, and booking management.
- Support operations during busy times and special events.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- College coursework in hospitality or a related field is helpful.
- Two or more years of customer service experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of hotel operations.
- Clear communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to stay organized, multitask, and work independently.
- A customer-focused, team-oriented mindset.
