Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Service Technician to join our team. The Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and residential environments. This position requires strong technical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while representing the company professionally in the field.
Key Responsibilities
· Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently and safely
· Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment
· Perform service calls for commercial, industrial, multi-family, and residential customers
· Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
· Install and service panels, disconnects, lighting systems, switchgear, generators, EV chargers, and controls
· Conduct preventative maintenance inspections
· Communicate findings and recommendations to customers and supervisors
· Complete service reports, time sheets, and documentation accurately
· Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory
· Follow all OSHA, NEC, and company safety standards
· Work occasional overtime or emergency service calls as needed
Qualifications
· Valid Michigan Driver’s License
· Journeyman Electrician License preferred
· Strong knowledge of NEC code requirements
· Minimum 3–5 years electrical field experience
· Ability to troubleshoot independently
· Strong communication and customer service skills
· Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work from ladders/lifts
Preferred Qualifications
· Michigan Journeyman or Master Electrician License
· Experience with commercial service work
· Experience with generators, controls, and troubleshooting
· OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
· Experience using service software/tablets

7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
On-call rotation may apply
Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
