Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Full-Time Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This is a 40 hours/week position in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. Your main responsibilities will include processing and filling prescriptions, along with other tasks under the direction of a licensed pharmacist to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a high-responsibility role that demands strict attention to detail and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Process, fill, label, and dispense prescriptions accurately
- Provide friendly, respectful customer service at the counter and over the phone
- Assist with inventory management, insurance claims, and daily pharmacy operations
- Support compounding and delivery efforts as needed
- Maintain compliance with all Arkansas Board of Pharmacy, HIPAA, and DEA regulations
- Collaborate with our team in a lively, supportive environment
Must-Have Qualifications (Only apply if you meet these)
- Active Arkansas Pharmacy Technician License/Registration (required)
- Willing and able to undergo and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check (required — no exceptions for those with a Medical Marijuana Card per AR Board of Pharmacy)
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills and aptitude using computers/pharmacy software
- Reliable, dependable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-responsibility setting
- Flexible availability for full-time hours (including some evenings/weekends as needed) and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of pharmacy technician or retail/customer service experience
- Experience with inventory, compounding, or insurance billing
- Bilingual skills a plus
