The Corporate Junior Epic Trainer supports the development, delivery, and ongoing maintenance of Epic training programs across the organization. This role assists with training through multiple formats, including in-person sessions, live virtual training, video resources, and pre-recorded materials, with a focus on the Epic Agency Management System and related tools.
The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support users across multiple locations. Occasional travel may be required within the company’s current footprint, including Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Minnesota, Kansas, and Tennessee.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and delivery of new Epic training programs.
- Maintain and update existing training materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and relevance.
- Support auditing and reporting efforts related to data integrity and system usage.
- Assist with the ongoing evaluation of the effectiveness of, and compliance with, the company’s Agency Management System and related training programs.
- Partner with the Technology Department to develop, implement, troubleshoot, and enhance new and existing tools.
- Participate in internal focus groups to identify opportunities for improving existing tools or implementing new solutions.
- Serve as a key member of the New Agency Integration Team, supporting onboarding activities for newly acquired agencies, including data conversion, testing, and training.
- Provide backup support for other members of the training team as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Knowledge of insurance brokerage operations preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of Applied Epic preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and related productivity tools.
- Three to five years of experience in organizational training or a related field.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership ability and comfort influencing others through change.
- Flexible, reliable, and dependable, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently.
