Administer and ensure high quality programs that fully utilize administrative and educational leadership through high quality staffing. Ensure implementation of licensing, accreditation standards, and Step Up to Quality as required.
Primary Responsibilities:

Administer and ensure a high-quality program that fully utilizes administrative and educational leadership.

Knowledge of and execution of a program that abides by all state licensing mandates.

Understand, obtain and maintain high quality ratings from Step Up to Quality and national accreditation as eligible.

Ensure curriculum is aligned with the Ohio Content Standards.
-
Ensure all children are assessed twice a year and assist directors with the utilization of this information to guide practice.

Develop and implement best practices with parent partnerships and multi-gen supports.

Oversees implementation of all quality curriculum components (Literacy, Social-emotional, Health, Family Partnerships, Assessment, Professional Development, SUTQ/National Accreditation, Arts, i.e., QCC’s).

Lead or participate in community partnerships, with a balance of external and internal facing focus, to improve our current programming and influencing quality in the community

Participate in advocacy work with 3-5 community partnerships
- Oversee the maintenance of a high-quality physical space and oversee the maintenance of repairs as needed.

Ensures all financial and budget matters are managed including costs for daily operationsyearly budget development and management of budget staffing and payroll; tuition payments and postings; enrollment and marketing;; monthly reports; and related areas.

Oversee coordinator’s planning and implementation of the quality curriculum in a manner that supports the child’s intellectual, social-emotional, physical and language development and promotes school readiness.

Review and oversee the process for individual program observations on staff and provide feedback to them as needed.

Ensures all coordinators complete and review an annual professional development plan and annual evaluation; monitor timeline for goal, strengths and areas of growth.

Oversee program utilization of best practices and positive discipline techniques with children.

Be familiar with and abide by Learning Grove’s Vision, Mission, Values and Code of Ethics.
- Work in-ratio when needed at afterschool programs

Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education, Experience and Other Skill Requirements:

Bachelor/Master Degree in Education or related field or 10 plus working experience
-
Experience with programs operations strategically and at the operation level
-
Expertise in developing and overseeing quality systems for program oversight
-
Ability to influence the field externally
-
Five years or more prior experience working in a leadership role
-
Successful clearance of a Criminal Background Check and TB screen
-
Prior experience in a supervisory role in school age services
-
Ability to read, speak, and write English
-
Ability to travel to program sites and move about easily
