Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across local, routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations trucks, ensuring cargo integrity and proper handling
- Plan efficient routes to meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel usage and minimizing delays.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer to identify maintenance needs or safety concern
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries smoothly.
Requirements
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating tractor-trailers with manual transmissions in various environments.
- Familiarity with different truck types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds,
