Sustain With Me Landscapes is a women-led ecological landscape company providing high-touch garden stewardship throughout the East Bay. We specialize in California native landscapes, edible gardens, sustainable maintenance, and regenerative land care.
We are looking for a skilled Garden Maintenance Technician with strong plant knowledge and attention to detail to help maintain beautiful, ecologically focused gardens for a small portfolio of high-quality clients.
This is not basic mow-and-blow landscaping. We provide proactive garden stewardship, seasonal care, irrigation observation, and thoughtful long-term maintenance.

- Monitor plant health and identify pest or irrigation issues

- Observe irrigation systems and report needed repairs or adjustments
- Maintain clean, organized, professional job sites
- Communicate clearly with team members and management
- Work quickly and efficiently to maximize work time.
Ideal Candidate
- Strong knowledge of California native and climate-appropriate plants
- Experience in garden maintenance, horticulture, or ecological landscaping
- Familiarity with organic gardening methods and IPM strategies
- Comfortable identifying common plant health and irrigation issues
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently
- Interested in long-term ecological garden care rather than basic maintenance work
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Qualifications
- Landscape or garden maintenance experience required
- Valid CA driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
- Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical garden work safely
