We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist to join our team and provide exceptional mental health care to patients in a skilled nursing facility.

Scope of job: To complete onsite patient initial evals, follow-up assessments, and rounding's 2 days per week in a skilled nursing facility.
Duties:
- Conduct onsite initial evaluations, follow up assessments, and discharge for patients in a skilled nursing facility
- Rounding on patients
- Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy and other behavioral health interventions.
- Manage medication regimens responsibly while monitoring patient progress and side effects in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients
- Prescribe and monitor medication regimens
- Maintain accurate medical records, document intake assessments, treatment progress notes, and discharge summaries following best practices in medical terminology and data collection.
Required:
- Board certification in Psychiatry
- Valid Virginia state medical license
- MD/DO - Medical degree from an accredited institution with completion of residency training in psychiatry
- Active Virginia DEA Certification
