Hiring: Welder at RA Fabricating & Design (Marshall, MI)
We are a family-oriented metal fabrication company looking for a dedicated, experienced welder to join our team.
The Role
You will be responsible for high-quality MIG (GMAW) welding on stainless steel and other alloys. Your daily tasks will include:
- Welding & Prep: Setting up equipment, preparing surfaces, and executing precise welds.
- Precision Work: Reading blueprints/weld symbols and using fixtures to ensure parts are aligned correctly.
- Quality Control: Inspecting your own work to ensure it meets our structural and aesthetic standards.
- Maintenance: Keeping your workstation safe and performing routine maintenance on welding equipment.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 2 years of professional welding/fabrication experience.
- Skills: Must be able to read blueprints and weld symbols.
- Testing: Ability to pass a tape measure, math, and practical weld test.
- Physical: Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
