Position: Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT)
Status: Part-Time/Full-Time
Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Perform intake assessments.
- Create individualized treatment plans for each client.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to clients.
- Conduct therapy sessions using evidence-based treatment methods for individuals, couples, and families facing substance abuse and mental health challenges.
- Implement behavior management techniques.
- Manage caseload and scheduling.
- Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely documentation of client information, treatment plans, and progress.
- Regularly review and revise treatment plans as needed.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide crisis management and intervention.
- Perform 1:1, couples, group sessions, and case management for mental health and substance use disorder clients.
- Attend and participate in all supervision meetings.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in MFT, psychology, counseling, social work, or related field.
- Current work in progress towards obtaining California license for LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC.
- At least 1 year experience treating adults/substance abuse and/or mental health.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid California Driver's License, access to reliable transportation, provide evidence of vehicle insurance, and be insurable under the company’s insurance policy.
- Criminal background clearance & maintenance.
- Drug screening clearance & maintenance.
- TB screening.
- Current First and CPR certification.
- Must have demonstrated ability and prior experience working with minimum supervision and high levels of responsibility in highly stressful situations.
- Experience working with diverse client populations and clinical presentations.
- Must be available to meet the demands of the positions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in treatment facilities for drug and alcohol.
- Experience with KIPU.
Compensation:
$38.00/Hour-$45.00/Hour (Depending on Experience)
