Summary
We are actively seeking Quality Control Technicians in Houston, TX for 1st and 2nd shift. This role performs dimensional inspections of manufactured parts using engineering drawings, blueprints, gauges, and precision measurement instruments.
The shifts for this role are:
1st Shift: Monday through Friday 5am-5pm
2nd Shift: Monday through Friday 5pm-5am
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret part drawings, blueprints, and dimensional specifications
- Inspect manufactured parts against drawing requirements
- Use calipers, height gauges, radius gauges, and other inspection tools
- Verify part dimensions, tolerances, and geometric requirements
- Create and maintain inspection reports
- Document inspection results and dimensional findings
- Perform additional inspection-related duties assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Minimum of one year of experience performing dimensional inspections
- Knowledge of blueprint reading
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience using calipers, height gauges, radius gauges, and other inspection equipment
- Availability to work weekends as needed
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
- Manufacturing or production quality inspection experience
- Experience creating dimensional inspection reports
- Familiarity with common gauges and precision measurement instruments
