What you will do:

Keep production lines supplied with materials so work can continue smoothly.

Support machine operators and team members throughout the production process.

Move products, sheet stock, and pallets where needed.
-
Locate and prepare orders before production runs.
-
Report equipment issues, damaged products, or shortages to your supervisor.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift.

Assist with recycling, waste removal, and general housekeeping tasks.

Help with other duties as needed to support production goals.
What you bring to the table:
-
A high school diploma or GED and experience working in a manufacturing environment.
-
Two or more years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
-
The ability to safely operate machines, follow instructions, and learn new processes quickly.
-
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a team-first attitude.
-
The ability to multitask, stay focused in a fast-paced environment, and meet production goals.

Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and making simple calculations.
-
Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and work in a warm, active production setting.

Flexibility to work a rotating night shift schedule, including weekends.

Full Job description:
Responsibilities
-
Assist Finishing Operators & Assistant operators to ensure product movement.
-
Ensure each machine has product available to continue production.
-
Maintains equipment and forklifts by reporting maintenance needed to supervisor.
-
Maintains housekeeping throughout the shift.
-
Report damaged product and/or shortages to supervisor.
-
Locate orders before start of run.
-
Dumps garbage dumpsters.
-
Assists other operators as necessary.
-
Supplies sheet stock and pallets to machine centers to process orders.
-
Additional duties may be assigned by management.
-
Keeps area clean and organized.
-
Performs similar job duties as required.
Requirements:
Work experience requirements
-
Two or more years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
-
Forklift certification is a plus.
-
Experience with uneven/difficult forklift operation.
-
Able to work under pressure and meet time deadlines.
