S&S Drilling is looking for a motivated, hardworking individual to join our drilling crew as a Floorhand. We operate throughout North Dakota, South Dakota, and Montana, providing high-quality water well drilling services for municipal, agricultural, commercial, and residential projects.
Position Requirements
- Must be willing to travel and work out of town.
- No set schedule—hours vary based on project needs, weather, and drilling conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site is required.
- Must maintain a drug-free lifestyle and be able to pass pre-employment and random drug testing.
- Valid driver’s license required (CDL is a plus but not required).
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions.
- Comfortable working at heights and climbing.
- Mechanical aptitude and construction or drilling experience are a plus but not required—we are willing to train the right individual.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily drilling operations.
- Load, unload, and maintain drilling equipment and tools.
- Handle drill pipe, casing, and materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance on rigs and support equipment.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and professional.
- Work closely with the driller and crew to complete projects safely and efficiently.
