Medicareschool.com is a Medicare brokerage that is education first. We create a large volume of video formatted educational content around Medicare & Social Security.
Primarily we produce long form and short form content for organic reach. We're looking for one intern this fall to help with editing and shoot support.
What you'd actually do:
- Assist in editing short-form and long-form video in Adobe Premiere Pro
- After Effects experience is not required, but is a bonus
- Organize and manage footage/asset libraries across active projects
- Assist on shoot days (in-person, scheduled in advance)
- Support project logistics: file handoffs, revisions, deliverable tracking
Details:
- Paid, W-2, Wages Based on Experience and Availability
- $18-22/hour range
- 20-30 hrs/week, open to flexible schedules and providing additional hours during busy periods
- Temporary internship, with potential to extend or expand based on fit
- This will be a deadline-driven position.
Who this is for:
You're a student who's interested in learning how a marketing department produces video content. You’re someone who wants to understand what the process looks like from ideation, to shooting, to post production. If your goal is building a reel of flashy personal projects, this isn't the right fit. If you want to see what real day to day work looks like from the inside, it might be.
Plus, we have a good time!
To apply:
Send a short note to [email protected] with the subject line:
Video Internship.
No traditional resume required, but feel free to write a one or two-paragraph introduction explaining your experience and why you’re interested in the role.
In addition, I’ll ask that you answer this:
Tell us about a project or job (any project, doesn't have to be video) where the least glamorous part of the work mattered most, and how you handled it.
*Selected candidates will complete a brief paid test edit as the next step.*
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
