Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Automobile Technician to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive mechanical expertise to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicle systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety for our valued customers. Your hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics, engine repairs, and electrical systems will be essential in delivering top-tier service of various makes and models. Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems.
- Repair and replace engines, gasoline powertrains, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct wheel alignments, suspension repairs, and wheel balancing to optimize vehicle handling and safety.
- Utilize power tools, hand tools, and heavy lifting techniques to execute mechanical repairs efficiently.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete repair reports, and communicate findings clearly to service management/advisors.
- Assist in vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake replacements, tire rotations, and general inspections for standard passenger cars and heavy-duty vehicles.
Skills
- Proven dealership or automotive repair shop experience with a strong background in automotive engine system repair.
- Expertise in automotive diagnostics using industry-standard diagnostic tools and software.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and schematics interpretation.
- Skilled in repairing traditional gasoline-powered engines.
- Mechanical knowledge of powertrain components including transmissions, clutches, and drivetrain systems.
- Ability to handle manual handling tasks safely while performing heavy lifting or repetitive movements.
