Position Summary
Amber Integrated Services USA is seeking a highly organized and proactive HR Coordinator to support our growing Human Resources team. This role will assist with recruiting, onboarding, employee records, payroll coordination, benefits administration, HR compliance, and day-to-day HR operations.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities, and enjoys working in a fast-paced construction and semiconductor project environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Recruiting & Hiring
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and candidates
- Prepare offer letters and employment documents
- Coordinate background checks, drug screenings, and employment verification
- Maintain candidate records and recruiting trackers
- Assist with job postings on Indeed, LinkedIn, and other recruiting platforms
- Communicate with staffing agencies regarding recruiting activities
Onboarding
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation
- Complete Form I-9 and E-Verify processes
- Assist employees with onboarding paperwork
- Coordinate badge requests, safety orientation, and required training
- Maintain onboarding documentation and personnel files
HR Administration
- Maintain employee personnel records and HR documentation
- Process employee status changes
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding
- Prepare employment verification letters and HR correspondence
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information
Payroll & Benefits Support
- Assist with payroll preparation and timecard coordination
- Review employee time records for completeness
- Coordinate benefit enrollment with employees and insurance brokers
- Assist employees with benefit-related questions
- Maintain PTO and leave records
- Support payroll audits and certified payroll documentation when needed
- Experience with Davis-Bacon Act (DBA) prevailing wage requirements and certified payroll processing (WH-347).
HR Compliance
- Maintain I-9 files and employment documentation
- Assist with federal and state labor law compliance
- Maintain required HR records
- Support HR policy implementation
- Assist with audits and compliance reporting
Employee Support
- Respond to employee HR questions
- Coordinate employee communications
- Support employee engagement activities
- Assist with company events and orientation programs
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of Human Resources or Administrative experience
- Recruiting and onboarding experience preferred
- Experience with HRIS systems (Paylocity, ADP, Paycom, Workday, etc.) preferred
- Experience supporting payroll and benefits administration is a plus
- Construction or manufacturing industry experience is preferred but not required

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Smartsheet, or similar systems is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
Basic Job Requirements
The employee must:
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license throughout employment.
- Have reliable personal transportation and be able to travel locally as required to perform job duties.

- Be willing and able to drive to various work sites, government offices, and other business-related locations as needed.

- Be available to perform occasional field assignments, errands, deliveries, pickups, and other business-related tasks as required.

Preferred Qualifications
