CNC Lathe Machinist
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to operate and set up CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CNC lathe operation, blueprint reading, precision measuring, and quality inspection.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathes.
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Load and adjust CNC programs as needed.
- Select and change tooling and make machine adjustments.
- Use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and machine adjustments.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow production schedules and safety procedures.
- Meet quality and production requirements.
Qualifications
- Previous CNC lathe experience required.
- Experience with CNC setups and machine operation preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerances.
- Experience using precision measuring tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Manufacturing or machining experience preferred.
