Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools promptly to meet health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, sinks, and dishwashing equipment to ensure a hygienic workspace
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables and organizing supplies when needed
- Support catering events or banquet setups by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and uphold food safety regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service times
- Dispose of waste appropriately and maintain recycling protocols to promote an eco-friendly environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or culinary environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key
- Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and food handling safety standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen operations
