We are currently hiring for our North Bergen and Perth Amboy locations only. We have one (1) Warehouse Associate position available at each location. While our Belleville facility is not actively hiring at this time, qualified applicants may be considered for future employment opportunities.
Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the warehouse by receiving, organizing, storing, and distributing HVAC products accurately and efficiently. This position plays an integral role in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and contributing to a safe, organized, and productive warehouse environment.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced setting. Candidates should be capable of performing physically demanding tasks while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for delivery or pickup.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and shipping documentation.
- Load and unload trucks while handling materials safely and efficiently.
- Organize inventory and replenish stock to maintain an orderly warehouse.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by assisting with cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, when properly trained and certified.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant work environment.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff, drivers, and management to ensure operational efficiency.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and workplace safety standards.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned to support business operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse, distribution, logistics, or HVAC industry experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Forklift certification or prior forklift experience is an asset.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
