What You'll Do:

Use Syteline ERP to analyze requirements and prepare and issue purchase orders for "buy" and "make" items in line with production schedules

Plan and execute procurement activities in support of cost, quality, and delivery targets

Build and manage supplier relationships; negotiate pricing, contracts, lead times, and terms

Work closely with Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Quality on pricing, availability, material flow, and purchasing-related issues

Resolve supplier concerns involving price, quality, delivery, availability, or invoices

Monitor supplier performance, supply-chain risks, and opportunities; identify alternate sources and recommend improvements

Support cost, lead-time, and inventory-reduction efforts through analysis and continuous improvement
What We Need:

Strong computer skills are essential, including demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook

Prior hands-on experience using Syteline ERP is strongly preferred

A minimum of three years of purchasing experience or three years of employment at Riverhawk in good standing is required

Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage changing priorities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments and with suppliers

Associate's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.

General understanding of ISO 9001 and Riverhawk's Quality Policy

Pay range - $25-27.00/hr (please note that this range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position's qualifications)
