American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week assignment supporting diagnostic, interventional, and electrophysiology cardiac procedures.

Cardiac Cath Lab unit within a short-term acute care hospital with 325 staffed beds
-
Performs diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures
-
Assists with PCI including stents, balloon angioplasty, laser, rotational atherectomy, Impella, IABP, and CTO interventions
-
Supports structural heart procedures including TAVR, balloon valvuloplasty, and Watchman
-
Assists with electrophysiology procedures including EPS, Afib/flutter ablations, and BIV/pacemaker implants
-
Uses EPIC EMR for charting
-
4x10 hour day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
-
On-call requirement of 1 weekday per week and 1 weekend every 5-6 weeks

May be required to float between sister facilities within the same network

Minimum 1 year of experience in cardiac cath lab and EP procedures required

BLS and ACLS certification required
-
ARRT-R or CCI RCIS certification required (not both)

WA state RT or CIS license required (not both); license required if applicable

Compact license must be active and in hand at time of consideration

Teaching hospital and community hospital experience required
-
Prior travel assignment experience required
-
Rhythm interpretation skills preferred
-
Proficiency in EKG lead placement, room circulating, and sterile field scrubbing required
-
Experience with left and right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, and temporary pacemaker insertion required
-
Preferred skills include arrhythmia induction, cardiac mapping, cardiac ablation, TAVR, Watchman, and coil embolization
-
Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required

Responsibilities include accurate patient monitoring, procedural support, and maintaining sterile technique during interventional and EP procedures

First-time travelers will not be considered for this role

Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for a travel contract rate
-
All requested time off must be submitted at the time of consideration; post-offer time off requests may not be accommodated

Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility

Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility as a permanent employee, traveler, or per-diem staff, including location and dates
