We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Grants & Outcome Measurements Coordinator to join our team. This vital role will drive the organization’s efforts in managing grants, ensuring compliance, and measuring program outcomes to maximize impact. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, strategic thinking, and a passion for advancing community programs through meticulous oversight and innovative evaluation techniques.

Job Summary:
This full-time position searches for and applies for grant opportunities for the organization, writes grants, develops relationships with grant sources, maintains annual grants calendar, reports grant progress to CEO and Board of Directors, and files all grant report requirements. Manages the collection and reporting of all outcome measurements tied to grants. Manages grant coding for expense allocations.
Works closely with the CEO, Marketing, and the Director of Advancement to update and maintain the donor database and reports on as needed basis.
Special Event functions when assigned, including, but not limited to, WineFeast, Golf Outing, Women’s Tea and Annual Dinner. This may include, but is not limited to, sales of tickets, event set-up, handling registration, cash, and wrap-up concluding event.
Promote the components of health, wellness and fitness to achieve the goals of the organization.
It is the responsibility of every staff member to cultivate and maintain positive donor relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred in an area of development for nonprofit organizations.
- Three years proven successful experience in nonprofit operations in the area of grant writing, outcome measurements, donor database management and foundation & donor relationships.
- Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships and partnerships with a Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, donors, community groups and other agencies.
- Commitment to role model and promote a lifestyle of health, wellness and fitness.
- Proven experience in searching, writing and reporting on grants in the private and public sector.
- Computer skills competency, including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Power Point, Desktop Publishing, donor database management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Promote the area of health, wellness and fitness to our membership.
- Work with the CEO, Marketing, and Director of Advancement to coordinate a donor stratification strategy using software to identify and increase prospective donors, recognize existing donors, research donor interests and capabilities.
- Completes grant search and writing process, develop relationships with grant source, maintains annual grants calendar, reports grant progress to CEO and Board of Directors, and files all grant report requirements.
- Develops and monitors an annual calendar/ timeline of grants to be written with monthly status reports to CEO and Board of Directors.
- Supports donor relationships as assigned by the Development and Marketing Director or on as needed basis.
- Manages the collection and reporting of all outcome measurements tied to grants. Manages grant coding for expense allocations.
- Mandated child abuse reporter.
- Handles other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Development and Marketing Director.
Duties
- Manage grant applications, renewals, and reporting processes with precision and timeliness.
- Develop and implement outcome measurement frameworks to assess program effectiveness and inform strategic planning.
- Coordinate with program staff to collect, analyze, and report data related to project outcomes and objectives.
- Oversee documentation related to grants, contracts, vendor management, and compliance requirements using document management systems.
- Negotiate terms with vendors, contractors, and partners to secure favorable agreements aligned with organizational goals.
- Ensure adherence to legal standards including federal regulations such as U.S. Contract Law, UCC law (Uniform Commercial Code), and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
- Maintain comprehensive records of all grant activities, contracts, amendments, and evaluations using ERP system.
Requirements
- Proven experience in grants management, outcome measurement, or related roles within non-profit or community organizations.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, contract review, and negotiation strategies.
- Familiarity with legal drafting, compliance management, intellectual property law, and records management practices.
- Ability to utilize document review tools such as DocuSign for contract signing and ERP systems for data tracking.
- Excellent research skills combined with strategic planning capabilities for proposal writing and business development initiatives.
- Knowledge of UCC law, FAR regulations, federal procurement policies, and technical writing standards is highly desirable.

Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to think clearly and concisely.
- Ability to lead and conduct tours in buildings and school sites, including those only having stair access.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $39,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year
