**Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Pet Groomer with 2+ years of experience in grooming to join our team. We will consider a groomer with less experience that is willing and wanting to grow.
**Duties:**
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets to client preference.
- Trim pets' nails, clean their ears, and provide other grooming services as needed.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming sessions.
- Communicate with pet owners to understand their specific grooming requests at check-in.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area
**Skills:**
- Experience in pet grooming is necessary. Candidates with 1 to 2 years will be considered on a case to case basis but 2+ years is preferred.
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
- Proficiency in heavy lifting when handling larger pets. We have a step in tub and are a team willing to provide assistance to one another.
- Knowledge of animal behavior and body language.
- Certification is a bonus. We proudly support our stylist in pursuit of further education.
- Familiarity with cat grooming is encouraged but not necessary.

Pay: $51,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
