Every new hire begins on our Sales Seeker Team, where you will develop the skills, product knowledge, and sales experience needed to succeed. This is a high-activity business development role where you will spend your day engaging business customers, building relationships, and making 40 to 60 outbound business calls. Through hands-on training, mentorship, and ongoing coaching, you will build the foundation needed to advance into an Account Manager role.

Sales Seeker Development Program
Every new sales team member begins their career on our Sales Seeker Team, a structured development program designed to prepare you for long-term success in business-to-business sales.
During the program, you will receive hands-on training in:
- Business development fundamentals
- Professional communication
- Customer relationship management (CRM)
- Consultative selling
- Lead generation and qualification
- Opportunity and pipeline management
- Fiber optic, copper, and data communications products
- Industry terminology and applications
You will work alongside experienced Account Managers and sales leadership while receiving ongoing coaching, product training, and performance feedback.
As you demonstrate consistent performance and professional growth, you will have the opportunity to transition into an Account Manager role with increased responsibility, uncapped earning potential, and ownership of your own customer portfolio.
What You'll DoEngage Business Accounts
Use our CRM system to connect with business accounts, update customer information, identify sales opportunities, uncover customer needs, and build long-term business relationships through consistent outreach and follow-up.
Make Daily Outbound Calls
Make 40 to 60 outbound business calls each day using our CRM system to engage business customers, uncover opportunities, and support sales growth.
Build Customer Relationships
Develop professional relationships with business customers by understanding their needs and recommending solutions that support their business objectives.
Learn the Industry
Develop expertise in fiber optic, structured cabling, copper, and data communications products through ongoing training and mentorship.
Manage Sales Activity
Maintain accurate customer records, activities, and follow-up within our CRM system while keeping your pipeline organized and up to date.
Collaborate with the Team
Work closely with Account Managers and internal departments to deliver exceptional customer service and support company sales goals.
Continue Developing
Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development as you prepare for advancement into an Account Manager position.
Qualifications
We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the drive to build a long-term career.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Previous experience in inside sales, business development, customer service, or another customer-facing role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable making 40 to 60 outbound business calls each day
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Positive attitude with a competitive and goal-oriented mindset
- Coachable and eager to learn
- Dependable with a consistent work history
- Experience with Microsoft Office. CRM experience is a plus.
No previous experience in the data communications industry is required. We provide comprehensive sales and product training to help you succeed.
