Position Overview
As a CDL Hotshot Driver, you will safely operate a hotshot truck and 40-foot trailer, transporting freight across regional and long-distance routes while ensuring timely deliveries and exceptional customer service.
Compensation
- 25% of the line haul

Driver Responsibilities
- Safely operate a hotshot truck with a 40-foot trailer.
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Properly secure and inspect all cargo before transport.
- Deliver loads safely and on schedule.
- Maintain accurate electronic or paper logs, mileage, and vehicle inspection records.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, brokers, and customers.
- Safely transport hazardous materials when required.
- Report maintenance issues or equipment concerns promptly.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and represent the company with integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable hotshot driving experience with a 40-foot trailer.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Current Hazmat Endorsement (Required).
- Current TWIC Card (Required).
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and FMCSA compliance.
- Ability to safely secure various types of freight.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
- Ability to travel for extended periods and work a flexible schedule.
- Must be physically capable of assisting with loading, unloading, and securing cargo when necessary.
