EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position supports roadway maintenance planning and operations by reviewing data, monitoring field activities, and helping staff maintain accurate records. It plays an important role in ensuring that resources are used wisely and that maintenance goals are met. As a Roadway Programs Technician 1, you will perform the following duties:

Work Plan Review: Examine work plans and assist management staff in adjusting labor, materials, equipment, and funding needs

Data Analysis: Evaluate database information to help track goals and maintain system accuracy

Field Monitoring: Observe maintenance operations and gather field data to support development of work standards

Inventory Oversight: Track materials, monitor supply levels, and support storeroom and stockpile functions

Compliance Checks: Review work data to ensure adherence to performance measures and report deficiencies

Damage Assessment: Visit accident sites, document conditions, and support preparation of Reimbursable Activity Reports

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $40,685.00 (before taxes).
