Key Responsibilities
- Compounding: Prepare non-sterile formulas including capsules, liquids, chewables, and topicals.
- Compliance: Follow all USP <795> standards and Florida regulations strictly.
- Hazardous Safety: Adhere to USP <800> protocols for hazardous non-sterile drugs.
- Quality Control: Maintain precise Master Formulation Records and Compounding Records.
- Sanitation: Clean and sanitize laboratory areas and equipment daily.
- Inventory Control: Monitor, weigh, and rotate pharmaceutical-grade chemical ingredients.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Licensure: Active Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT) license from the Florida Board of Pharmacy.
- Training: Completion of a Florida Board-approved training program.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of pharmacy technician experience.
- Preferred Experience: Prior experience in a dedicated compounding lab environment.
