Job Overview
We are hiring experienced CDL Class A OTR drivers for dedicated routes between Illinois and Texas. This position involves hauling dry van freight on consistent lanes while operating in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
Drivers should be comfortable being out on the road for approximately 3 weeks at a time, depending on routing and scheduling needs.
Responsibilities
- Operate a CDL Class A tractor-trailer in compliance with DOT regulations
- Run assigned routes between Illinois and Texas
- Haul no-touch dry van freight and complete deliveries in a timely manner
- Communicate with dispatch regarding load status, delays, or route updates
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections as required
- Follow all Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and company safety policies
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Minimum 2 years of recent, verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean or acceptable motor vehicle record
Compensation
- Weekly earnings: $2,000 – $2,800 (based on miles and performance)
- Fuel incentives and safety bonuses may be available
