I am seeking a dependable, compassionate, and responsible caregiver to provide in-home support for a stroke-survivor client in Canton, Michigan. This is an ongoing, part-time independent contractor position.
Location: Canton, Michigan
Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
Hours: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Pay: $20/hour | Paid weekly on Fridays

Primary Responsibilities:
- Light housekeeping and maintaining a very clean, organized, and safe home environment
- Laundry and household tasks related to the client
- Meal preparation and light meal assistance
- Companionship and social engagement
- Safety supervision and general mobility assistance
- Going up and down stairs throughout the shift
- Transportation to medical appointments, errands, and outings
- Occasional errands on the client’s behalf
- Medication reminders, as appropriate
- Observing and communicating changes in the client’s condition or behavior
- Respecting the client’s privacy, dignity, home, and boundaries
- Maintaining professional communication with the client, family, and Heart to Home Care
- Following HIPAA privacy and confidentiality requirements
This is not a heavy-lifting position; however, applicants must be physically able to safely and consistently navigate stairs.

Previous caregiving or healthcare experience is preferred. Stroke-care experience is a plus but not required.
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance are required if transporting the client.
