We are seeking a Showroom Sales & Design Associate to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about design, enjoys working with people, and wants to build a long-term career in the luxury home furnishings industry. The ideal candidate will have strong sales and customer service skills, an eye for design, and the ambition to grow into a Showroom Manager role over time.
Position Overview
As a Showroom Sales & Design Associate, you will be one of the primary faces of Lenox Hill, helping clients discover products, develop design solutions, and create an exceptional showroom experience. You will work directly with homeowners, interior designers, architects, and builders while supporting sales, merchandising, and daily showroom operations.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist showroom visitors in a warm, professional, and consultative manner
- Build relationships with homeowners, designers, architects, and builders
- Guide clients through furniture, lighting, décor, and material selections
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and client presentations
- Follow up with leads and nurture client relationships
- Assist with order management and coordination with vendors
- Maintain showroom appearance, merchandising, and product displays
- Support social media content and showroom events as needed
- Help develop systems and processes as the company grows
- Take increasing responsibility for showroom operations with the opportunity to advance into a Showroom Manager position
Qualifications
- Previous experience in luxury retail, furniture sales, interior design, real estate, hospitality, or a related client-facing field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for design, architecture, furniture, and beautiful spaces
- Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Comfortable working weekends
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to build trust and create lasting client relationships
- Experience with interior design is a plus, but not required
- Sales experience is strongly preferred

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
