Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety and security at all times
- Conduct thorough inspections of personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering or leaving the premises
- Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and identify potential threats
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies with appropriate conflict management techniques
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and authorizations
- Provide first aid or CPR when necessary to assist injured individuals until emergency services arrive
- Document incidents accurately through detailed reports and logs for future reference
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or security breaches
- Maintain a visible presence to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access while promoting a safe environment
Experience
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly preferred
- Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and loss prevention strategies is advantageous
- Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable; ongoing training will be provided if needed
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Familiarity with security protocols and emergency response procedures
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with team members and the public
