Our client, a global technology leader developing advanced cloud, networking, data, and artificial intelligence solutions for enterprise environments, is hiring multiple vacancies for AI Software Development Professionals in Puerto Rico. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver end-to-end AI-enabled software features across front-end interfaces, backend services, APIs, and data integrations.
- Build and integrate REST/gRPC APIs, databases, authentication, telemetry, and external AI services such as LLM, agent, and RAG platforms.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests while maintaining strong code quality, validation, documentation, and error handling.
- Improve application performance, reliability, observability, and security through monitoring, caching, efficient queries, and secure configuration management.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, Docker-based deployments, cloud environments, and production issue resolution.
- Collaborate with product, design, QA, SRE, data, and senior engineering teams throughout feature development and release cycles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related quantitative field; a master’s degree may be preferred for senior roles.
- Approximately 2–10 years of software or AI engineering experience, depending on the position level.
- Strong experience with Python and/or Node.js, modern front-end frameworks such as React or Angular, and backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Express, or NestJS.
- Knowledge of REST/gRPC APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases, software testing, and full-stack application development.
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD platforms, cloud services, and application observability.
- Understanding of secure coding, authentication, authorization, secrets management, and software reliability practices.
- Familiarity with AI integrations such as LLM APIs, agents, RAG services, vector search, prompt handling, and guardrails.
