Job Summary
Quality Janitorial Group is seeking a professional, dependable, and detail-oriented janitor to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and professional environments in assigned commercial industrial facilities. This is a Monday through Friday; 5pm to 10pm position located in Weaverville, NC.
Core Responsibilities
- Empty Trash and replace liners
- Dust and wipe surfaces
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas
- Refill paper products and restroom supplies
- Report on maintenance and safety concerns to manager
- Follow company cleaning procedures and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Professionalism: Strong customer service, clear communication skills, and professional appearance/attitude are required.
- Autonomy: Ability to work efficiently independently or collaborate with a team as situations dictate.
- Experience: Previous porter, janitorial, or commercial cleaning experience is preferred, but we provide comprehensive on the job training.
- Requirements: Must be willing to undergo standard facility background checks and screening protocols.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for extended periods.
- Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. routinely without accommodations (handling trash bags, supply cases, and mop buckets).
