Immediately hiring a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tool and Die Operators for a large manufacturing company on the southside of San Antonio.
Pay is up to $19/hr. based on experience
Shift is Mon-Fri 10am-6:30pm (overtime as required)
Duties:
- Able to replace / rework if any tool elements are found worn out, broken, chipped, etc.
- Responsible for solving tooling issues if any found during running the mold.
- Be able to train junior operators in assembly techniques (Grinding techniques, advanced inspection techniques etc.,)
- Responsible for receiving new mold’s & conducting incoming inspection
- Handling of measuring instruments like micrometer, vernier caliper.
- Inspection the tool elements in height gauge / master
- Responsible for changing the mold tool in molding.
- Estimate the work as per plan and deliver the job 100% on time every time.
- Prepare the machining sketch for grinding operators
- Assemble tool and ensure all shot-offs are perfectly matched
- Conducts and monitors 5S activities
Requirements:
- High school diploma or ED preferred
- Must have experience in mold assembly
- Seeking at least 2 years in tooling industry
