Duties
- Coordinate patient appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling that meets both patient needs and provider availability
- Serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, conveying instructions, answering questions, and providing educational information about treatments and procedures
- Support clinical staff by preparing medical documentation, managing electronic health records (EHR), and handling administrative tasks related to patient care
- Ensure compliance with health regulation policies and maintain confidentiality of sensitive medical information at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a medical office or dental office environment with strong knowledge of healthcare procedures and regulations
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) management systems
- Knowledge of health insurance policies, billing procedures, and medical administrative support functions
- Strong understanding of medical terminology to accurately document and communicate clinical information
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy healthcare setting
- Office experience demonstrating proficiency in scheduling software and general administrative tasks
- Prior experience in dental or similar healthcare environments is highly desirable
