Job description:
Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist
San Marino, CA | Village Fitness and Physical Therapy
Intro
About the Role
Doctors of Physical Therapy play an essential role at Village. They serve as clinicians, leaders, and mentors while providing the individualized care our clients need to stay active, build strength, and thrive after age 40.
Because the majority of our clients are women over 40, there is a significant need for specialized pelvic floor physical therapy within our community. We are looking for a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist to help us expand this important area of care within our cash-pay practice.
We are open to candidates at different stages of their careers. A newer pelvic floor therapist would receive mentorship in patient care, clinical decision-making, and working within a cash-pay model. A more experienced therapist would have the opportunity to contribute immediately, help shape the program, and earn compensation that reflects their experience.
This position will initially be part-time at our San Marino location, with the possibility of also treating patients in Glendora. As Village continues to grow, the role may develop into a full-time position. We currently operate locations in San Marino and Glendora and are preparing to open our third location in Thousand Oaks.
With that, here is some general information about Village Fitness and Physical Therapy and PT at Village:
At Village, we’re on a mission to change lives; and we believe that starts with strength. We help people over 40 rebuild their bodies, defy aging, and take back control of their health through doctor-designed strength and performance programs.
We’re looking for physical therapists who want to serve their patients, not insurance companies; those who are ready to practice with purpose, autonomy, and results.
If you just want to clock in and coast, this isn’t your place. If you want to wake up knowing your work truly matters, Village could be the place for you.
What Makes Village Different:
Serve Your Patient’s Needs
Not Their Insurance Company As a highly skilled, autonomous practitioner, there’s nothing more frustrating than knowing exactly what your patient needs while having your hands tied by bureaucracy. At Village, it’s your call. You determine the best care plan — not an adjuster or algorithm.
Work 1-on-1 With Every Patient
No awkward hand-offs to aides. No juggling three patients while trying to catch up on notes. Just focused, 50-minute uninterrupted sessions with your patient and 10-minute note time before the next session begins. Plain and simple.
Transition Clients to Lifelong Health
Without lifestyle change, many patients will never break free from chronic pain and weakness. At Village, you’ll help them continue their progress through our integrated fitness and nutrition program, designed to move clients from rehab to resilience.
Utilize Barbells for True Strength Development
It’s an open secret that many PTs lack the tools to build real strength. We believe the barbell is the missing link in long-term health outcomes. Airex pads and pink dumbbells have their place, but here, you’ll use progressive overload to create lasting change.
Build Long-Term Relationships and Community
Since 2016, Village has exemplified that a community of people working towards becoming healthier breeds real connection and encourages healthy outcomes for all. Our clients stay, thrive, and bring others with them. As a PT, you’ll often see your former patients lifting, laughing, and living better years after discharge.
Earn What You’re Worth
Tired of watching insurance reimbursement rates drop while your productivity quotas rise? At Village, you’ll break free from that cycle. Our transparent, performance-based pay means your income reflects your impact and you’ll develop real business acumen along the way.
Mentor and Be Mentored
We never stop learning. You’ll receive regular mentorship from our senior physical therapy team and have the opportunity to mentor our fitness coaches, bridging the gap between rehab and long-term strength training.
Your Role
As a Doctor of Physical Therapy at Village and Pelvic Floor Specialist, you are both clinician and coach. You’ll bridge the gap between rehab and performance — guiding clients from pain and dysfunction to power. Using both internal and external manual techniques, personalized exercise treatments, and PT determined plans of care you’ll give your patients the care they deserve without the 6 month wait time. You’ll collaborate daily with our coaching staff, helping clients overcome limitations, build resilience, and graduate into long-term strength training.
This is ideal for PTs who want the freedom, income, and impact of a cash-pay model.
