We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Medical Biller to join our fantastic healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Manage/ maintain client accounts
- Process invoices, payments, and refunds
- Monitor accounts for overdue balances and follow-up on outstanding payments
- Cut checks and post payments to patient accounts
- Provide support to the nursing facilities for their long term population
- Knowledge of PNA and Social Security income a plus
Requirements
- Experience in a medical office setting is preferred, along with familiarity with medical collection practices.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, insurance representatives, and healthcare staff.
- Prior experience in nursing home collections and business office procedures a plus.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
