Placement Information:
Family Overview
- Dad works in office, mom is on maternity leave currently
- North Portland, OR
- 2.5 month old at hire
Schedule & Logistics
- 2 days/week: Tuesday and Thursday
- Start ASAP - Family will be visiting 8/29 - 9/10 (if a nanny can be found prior, family is happy to start with a break before 9/15
- TEMPORARY: Looking for care through the end of 2026 with the possible extension through February 2027 before baby boy is placed in daycare in March.
- Family will have a couple weeks of vacation in mid October and then traveling to Europe at the end of November.
- Family would love the option to add a date night once in a while along with flexibility if one week a day needs to be shifted if possible for the nanny.
About Job
- 2 days a week, Tuesday and Thursday, 11am - 3pm
- Must be confident working with newborns to first time parents
- Engage baby boy through his dedicated routine of eating, sleeping, interactive play and sleep
- Once family is acclimated, neighborhood walks may be encouraged.
- 90 percent breastfed with formula supplementation when needed, paced bottle feeding
- Contact naps only
- Spanish speaking will be prioritized/preferred but ultimately looking for the best nanny for their baby.

- Looking for someone with a calm temperament, speciality with newborns, loves working with babies through milestones and being committed and reliable, kind and someone who can give mom time to focus on other things while with baby.

We're hiring professional, responsible nannies who are passionate about working with children and ready to build strong, long-term relationships with families.
- Experienced Caregivers: Minimum 2 years of professional childcare experience (nannying, daycare, teaching, etc). 1 year of experience can be substituted for related education.
- CPR & First Aid Certified (or willing to obtain).
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate with parents, follow care plans and update parents at end of day or throughout.
- Reliable and Professional: Punctual, trustworthy, and ready to work with high-quality families.
- Reliable Transportation: Willing to commute within the Portland metro and surrounding suburbs if doing on-call/maintained care with various families.
- Background Check Required: All applicants must pass a national background check.
Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
