Position Overview
We are looking for a Mechanical Designer / Detailer to support the design and documentation of automated packaging machinery and equipment. This position will focus heavily on creating and detailing mechanical drawings in SolidWorks while also supporting day-to-day engineering documentation and administrative tasks.
Requirements
- 2–3+ years of SolidWorks experience
- Strong experience creating and detailing mechanical drawings
- Ability to work from existing designs, assemblies, and engineering concepts to produce accurate manufacturing drawings
- Experience supporting general engineering administrative responsibilities, such as:
- Drawing revisions and updates
- Engineering documentation
- Bill of Materials (BOM) updates
- Engineering change documentation
- Organizing and maintaining technical files
- Experience working with MRP/ERP systems is highly preferred
- Experience with automated machinery, packaging equipment, conveyors, material-handling equipment, or machine design is a strong plus
