Full Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Greet guests promptly and courteously, creating a welcoming dining experience

Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system

Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner

Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and promotions

Check guest satisfaction throughout service and resolve concerns appropriately

Process guest payments accurately, including cash, credit, and comps

Follow all alcohol service laws and casino gaming regulations

Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas

Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and health department standards

Work cooperatively with kitchen staff, hosts, and fellow servers

Respect and uphold tribal culture, values, and guest service standards

Perform side work and opening/closing duties as assigned

All other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems

Must be able to obtain and maintain required gaming license(s)

Alcohol service certification (or ability to obtain within required timeframe)

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Ability to lift and carry trays, dishes, and supplies (up to 25–40 lbs.)

Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions

Work Environment & Schedule

Indoor restaurant and casino environment

Exposure to noise, crowds, and secondhand smoke (where applicable)

Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred

The Restaurant Server is responsible for providing friendly, efficient, and culturally respectful food and beverage service to guests in a fast-paced tribal casino environment. Servers ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by delivering prompt service, maintaining knowledge of menu offerings, and complying with all casino, tribal, and regulatory policies.
