Colossus Media Group is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Junior Content Creator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about video production, social media, and visual storytelling, and who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
As a Junior Content Creator, you'll support projects from concept through final delivery, serving as both a camera operator during productions and an editor during post-production. You'll help create engaging content for a variety of brands across industries, with a strong focus on producing high-quality, social-first video content.

Responsibilities
- Assist with all phases of the content creation process, including pre-production, production, and post-production
- Operate cameras and production equipment during on-site video shoots
- Edit photos and video footage into polished, engaging content optimized for social media and digital platforms
- Incorporate music, graphics, motion elements, sound design, and other visual effects as appropriate
- Ensure projects are edited with strong pacing, storytelling, and attention to detail
- Collaborate closely with producers, content strategists, and creative team members throughout the production process
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Organize and maintain project files and media assets
- Stay current on video trends, editing techniques, platform best practices, and emerging technologies
- Contribute creative ideas during brainstorming and content planning sessions
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience editing video using Adobe Premiere Pro (required)
- Experience creating content specifically for social media platforms
- Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing, composition, and audio editing
- Experience operating professional camera equipment (Canon cinema cameras preferred)
- Familiarity with production equipment and on-set workflows
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro; knowledge of After Effects and DaVinci Resolve is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Creative, proactive, and eager to learn
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A strong portfolio demonstrating editing and content creation abilities is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with motion graphics or basic animation
- Familiarity with color correction and audio mixing
- Experience creating short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
