Job Summary
Join our dynamic sushi restaurant team as a Full -Time -Time Grill Line Cook specializing in Japanese cuisine! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality grilled dishes and supporting the sushi station to deliver an exceptional dining experience. Duties
- Prepare and cook grilled dishes according to restaurant standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate
- Support the sushi station by assisting with food prep, plating, and presentation as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill area and kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
- Follow all food handling procedures, including proper knife skills and safe cooking techniques
- Assist with menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish modifications
- Ensure timely food service by managing multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
- Uphold high standards of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with grilling techniques
- Prior experience in fine dining or sushi restaurants is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Experience with menu planning, catering, or meal preparation is a plus
