Contract Opportunity: Volunteer Training Module Developer

Project Overview
The North Plains Volunteer Network (NPVN) is a community-based nonprofit program connecting volunteers with older adults and neighbors who need assistance with transportation, errands, companionship, and light home support.
We are seeking an experienced instructional designer, training developer, or learning consultant to create five volunteer onboarding and training modules using existing content outlines, policies, volunteer handbook materials, and platform requirements.
The ideal candidate combines expertise in adult learning, instructional design, and video production and can transform subject matter expert content into engaging, practical training for community volunteers.
This project is intended to support NPVN's initial launch. Additional contract opportunities may be available in the future to develop client-facing training and orientation videos, platform tutorials, and advanced volunteer learning modules.
Scope of Work
Using existing NPVN materials, develop five volunteer training modules:
- Introduction to North Plains Volunteer Network
- Platform Basics and Technology Training
- Volunteer Safety and Boundaries
- Home Visits and Transportation Expectations
- Respect, Dignity, Confidentiality, and Reporting Concerns
For each module, provide:
- Learning objectives
- Script and narration
- Visual presentation/slides
- Video production with captions
- Knowledge check or short quiz
- Final editable source files
Target module length:
- Approximately 3–6 minutes per module
- Total training package approximately 20–30 minutes
Qualifications
Required:
- Experience designing adult learning programs
- Experience creating onboarding, compliance, safety, or volunteer training
- Experience producing video-based learning content
- Ability to independently convert outlines and policies into completed training modules
Preferred:
- Nonprofit experience
- Healthcare, community health, aging services, social services, or volunteer management experience
- Experience with Canva, Camtasia, Loom, Articulate Rise, Storyline, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools
Compensation
This is a fixed-price contract.

Pay: $2,000.00 per month
