Location: Carbondale, Illinois
Pay Rate: $1,400 To $1,656/week
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday Friday; flexible shift as needed
Experience: Minimum 2 years required
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a 13-week inpatient rehabilitation assignment in Carbondale, Illinois. This role supports patient recovery, functional independence, and safe care delivery while requiring flexibility to float between assigned hospital locations based on patient care needs.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
Provide hands-on therapy to improve mobility, function, and daily living skills
Reassess patient progress and update treatment plans as clinically appropriate
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapy teams, and other care staff
Document care accurately and float between assigned locations as needed
Requirements
Active Illinois Occupational Therapist License Required
Minimum 2 years of Occupational Therapist experience required
Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
EPIC experience preferred
BLS And NIHSS Certifications may be required based on assigned unit or location
