Position Overview
Pipe and Plant Solutions, Inc. is seeking a hardworking, safety-conscious Laborer to support construction and industrial project sites. This role provides hands-on assistance to CCTV operators, cleaning operators, foreman, and superintendents across all phases of a project, helping ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards. Laborers who hold or are willing to obtain certifications in confined space entry, fall protection, and traffic control are strongly encouraged to apply, though these certifications are not required at time of hire.
Key Responsibilities
General Labor & Site Support
- Assist CCTV operators, cleaning operators, foreman, and superintendents with material handling, tool staging, and general site tasks.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from work areas.
- Perform manual labor including digging, backfilling, cleanup, and site preparation.
- Set up and break down work areas, barricades, and temporary signage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free job site.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and site-specific safety requirements at all times.
- Participate in daily toolbox talks, safety briefings, and job hazard analyses.
- Wear and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Support confined space entry operations under the direction of a qualified attendant or supervisor (confined space certification preferred).
- Follow fall protection procedures when working at elevation (fall protection certification preferred).
- Assist with traffic control and work zone setup on roadway or right-of-way projects (traffic control/flagger certification preferred but not required).
- Immediately report unsafe conditions, near-misses, or incidents to a supervisor.
Equipment & Tools
- Operate hand tools and light power tools as directed and trained.
- Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of small equipment under supervision.
- Inspect tools and equipment before use and report any deficiencies.
Team Support
- Work collaboratively with crew members, subcontractors, and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
- Follow instructions from foremen and superintendents and communicate progress or issues clearly.
- Be willing to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as experience grows.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and on active construction sites.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work safely as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and ability to report to assigned job sites.
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
Preferred (Not Required)
- Confined Space Entry certification/training.
- Fall Protection certification/training.
- Traffic Control / Flagger certification.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Construction certification.
- Prior experience in construction, industrial, or utility/pipeline work.
- Valid driver's license.

Pay: $20.00 - $72.96 per hour
