Responsibilities
- Assist with table setting, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and linens are properly arranged to meet service standards
- Support food service staff by bussing tables promptly and efficiently, maintaining cleanliness throughout service hours
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or food items following safe lifting practices
- Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning workstations, kitchen areas, and dining spaces regularly
- Support catering events by assisting with food handling, setup, and breakdown to ensure smooth operation
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure seamless service delivery
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to uphold health standards and prevent contamination
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with sanitation procedures and safe handling of food products is essential
- Experience with catering or hotel service roles will be advantageous
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team and interact positively with guests
- Knowledge of internal communication tools used in hospitality settings is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting and manual handling safely
