About Us
Always Best Care Senior Services is committed to providing exceptional in-home care while supporting our clients, caregivers, and clinical team with compassion, professionalism, and excellence. Our nursing department plays a vital role in ensuring quality care, regulatory compliance, and positive outcomes for every client we serve. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about both patient care and developing others to lead our growing nursing team.
Position Overview
The Nurse Lead is responsible for providing clinical oversight, leadership, and day-to-day support for our team of Registered Nurses while maintaining an active caseload of nursing responsibilities. This position serves as the primary leader for our PRN and part-time nursing staff, ensuring assessments, care plan updates, supervisory visits, documentation, and other clinical responsibilities are completed accurately and on time.
A significant focus of this role is mentoring, coaching, and developing our nursing team. Because our nurses work varying PRN and part-time schedules, the Nurse Lead ensures consistent communication, accountability, and follow-through while promoting high clinical standards across the agency.
As the clinical leader for nurses across multiple markets, this role also requires occasional travel throughout the agency's service territory to provide in-person support, coaching, training, and oversight. Our service area spans from the Charlotte/Gastonia region through the Piedmont Triad and into the Chapel Hill/Durham area. While travel is not required on a daily basis, periodic travel is an essential function of this position to maintain strong relationships with our nursing staff, ensure consistency in clinical practice, and support quality care across every market we serve.
This role works closely with the Director of Nursing and Agency Owner to improve clinical processes, monitor department performance, support quality initiatives, and ensure exceptional service for our clients.
