We're looking for a reliable Logistics Technician to join a fast-paced manufacturing facility. If you have warehouse or shipping/receiving experience, enjoy staying organized, and like working in an active environment, this could be a great opportunity!
In this role, you'll help keep production moving by receiving materials, preparing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and safely operating forklifts and other powered equipment.
Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming materials
- Prepare finished products for shipment
- Load and unload trucks using powered industrial equipment
- Label, package, and verify outgoing shipments
- Generate packing slips and shipping paperwork
- Maintain accurate inventory transactions and data entry
- Restock production materials throughout the day
- Perform daily equipment inspections
- Follow FIFO inventory practices
- Work safely while following all company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, logistics, or forklift experience preferred
- Forklift experience or willingness to become certified
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Safety-focused mindset
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
- Standing and walking throughout the shift
- Work primarily on the manufacturing floor
- Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs
